Magic

Black Magic is a Mustang.  He stands 14.2 hands.  Born in Oregon in 1984, Magic was an all-around English riding horse.  He retired to Ryerss in April 2002 and spends his days with Amber.

Mariah

Mariah is  a brown dun Kentucky Mountain Gaited Saddle horse with a black mane and tail.  She stands 16.1 hands and is very affectionate once she gets to know and trust someone.  An old tongue injury is a reminder of the cruelty she endured from an abusive former owner.  Retiring to Ryerss in August 2006 with Alado and Aramis, Mariah likes to roam the pastures with her friend, Star.

Matisse

Matisse is a black Westphalen.  He stands 17 hands.  He was an excellent upper level dressage horse, competing mainly in Fourth Level through Intermediare I.  A member of the barn herd, Matisse loves people and is very popular with the visitors.  Born in 1983, he retired to Ryerss in January 2005.

Monkey

Pick to Win is a bay Quarter horse.  He stands 15.2 hands.  Born in 1973, Monkey was a very spirited and much-loved trail horse who lived in the Glenmoore (Chester County, PA) area most of his life.  Enjoying the companionship of the same owner for more than 20 years, Monkey took his owner on many unforgettable trail rides to places like the King Ranch in Unionville, Valley Forge Park and Marsh Creek State Park.  In July 2001, Monkey retired to Ryerss Farm.
